Youngstown State University invites applicatons for tenure track appointment in
history. The successful candidate will teach primarily advanced courses in
modern Russian and Eastern European History, and World Civilization Surveys.
Special consideration will be given to those with a subfield in Modern China.
Ph.D. (awarded by August 2004) in an appropriate field. Teaching experience
strongly preferred. Candidate must demonstrate an active scholarly agenda.

The Department of Gender Studies at Central European University invites
applications for a full-time Professor.
The initial appointment is for 4-5 years and is renewable. Salary and benefits

The European Centre for Minority Issues seeks a SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE to
head its Balkans programme, which includes research, project development and
supervision of field offices.
